WHAT A SURPRISE

Well after my last post and seeing a comment from the fabulous author Armistead Maupin (well I'm sure it's him - who, apart from me would pose to be a peachy keen author of some legendary novels?!) I have renewed interest in the blog!

I have finished Michael Tolliver Lives and was more than satisfied, like listening to a song from A Chorus Line or watching Bette Davis in Dark Victory, it's my food and water and all I need. It has also got me ditching Mae West for now and reacquainting myself with the Tales Of The City miniseries on dvd. I blogged a few years ago and always remember Channel 4 advertising the series with a woman being all sultry promising that "the days are cool and the nights are hot". I watched the first hour on Friday night and soaked it all in again.

I went to a wedding yesterday at a beautiful lochside hotel in deepest, darkest Ayrshire. The setting was beautiful and like something out of a gallery, there was mist over the loch and nothing but stunning scenery for miles - that entertained me for all of 2 minutes before I got stuck into the free bar. It was an intimate wedding with only 70 guests, I took Cam and we just had a great time and danced our asses off all night aswell. Needless to say today, I am suffering a tad. My self imposed detox should have ended yesterday and I must say that I took it as a chance to make up for lost time and busted more moves and drank more vodkas than I have in months. I am taking my trainers advice though and only going drinking once a week - my days of 2 or 3 nights a week are long gone and I still don't have the stomach I want at all so the whip is still being cracked to push this body into some decent shape.

I have also been ever so slightly obsessed with Grindr. It's an app on the iPhone that is basically a gaydar with GPS - For example there is some queen 171 metres away called Bjam who says "good to talk" now if that's not an advert for cock sucking, I don't know what is. Speaking of which - I met my spanker again the other night. I vaguely remember blogging about this possibly last year when I let a guy spank me so we repeated on Friday after my gym session. He got to work right away and got my cheeks red raw but it was very funny because he was just so into it and kept on saying I had been a bad boy. Now that is hardly news but for a grown man with a hardon to tell another grown man that he's been a bad boy and has to be spanked is still a bit bizarre. I'm all for the bizarre at times and played along, aside from the spanking he was an expert at giving head so I could live with the spanking - I still don't know what I have done to be such a bad lad but whatever it was, I think it's just a little bit fabulous!

So the nights are becoming hot again thanks to Olympia Dukakis and Laura Linney and the rest of the creatures in Tales Of The City. Well this Sunday night is, either that or I've left my exfoliating mask on for too long and my face is burning!
