Just watched Psycho Beach Party. A hilarious campy slasher beach movie. This is based on all those early 60s beach movies that I don't remember but should do.
Chicklet has a split personality and slips into diva Ann Bowman, she also turns into black home girl, Tylene whenever she sees circles! That's just the start of it. She blacks out occasionally and when she does, someone dies and because she has these personalities, she can't remember what happened and is suspected for the murders. The film is stark staring bonkers. Charles Busch wrote the screenplay and he plays Captain Monica Stark in charge of the investigation. She's got a tough exterior but is determined to find out the truth behind the deaths. A big plus for me was Kimberley Davies - yes Annalise Hartman from Neighbours -plays B movie starlet Bettina Barnes. There are too many funny scenes and plenty of twists in the plot. With homoerotic undertones - a couple of the surfers wrestle with baby oil and try on Bettina's clothes - cute guys, Matt Keeslar, Thomas Gibson and Nicholas Brendon shirtless and snappy dialogue :-
MONICA STARK - Strange that the victim had only one testicle stuffed in his mouth. I believe they usually come in pairs.
COOKIE - Well, that's cuz he only had one. I checked. Plenty of meat, only one potato.
Charles Busch starred in an even better movie that I love love love - Die Mommie Die which I'll be putting info on later, needless to say it's even better than Psycho Beach Party.

PSYCHO BEACH PARTY...such a fun movie! That hottie w/ the dark hair who was "gay"...what's his name? Andrew Levitas I think. yummy....
