TOP 100 FABULOUS TV SCENES 60 -51

60 - AMANDA & PETER'S FAKE DEATH - 'Melrose Place' was winding down and to finish the season off, Aaron Spelling gave viewers a happy ending (kinda) to this wacky show. Amanda was turning herself into police for the murder of Kent from high school when she let Eve take the wrap. As police surround the cabin where she is, it blows up leaving her and Peter dead. The final scene of Melrose has Amanda and Peter exchanging vows on some exotic island and explaining that they had faked their deaths to be together and they walk off into the sunset!

59 - FALCON CREST CREDITS - The opening of Falcon Crest was fabulous with it's classic score by Bill Conti. Sweeping past the vineyards of Tuscany Valley, a limo speeds across the Golden Gate Bridge and pulls up in a driveway, cue Jane Wyman rolling down the window and smiling her poodle perm smile and raising a glass to the viewer! Amazing and ridiculously camp!

58 - ALEXIS MEETS DOMINIQUE - 'Dynasty' set up a rival to Alexis at the tail end of season 4. Glamorous Dominique Deveraux played by singer Diahann Carroll arrived in Denver, asking questions about the infamous Alexis Carrington Colby. She meets Alexis at her penthouse and they have a slight confrontation with Alexis exclaiming:- "Why is it that even though I don't know you, I dislike you already?!" Diahann and Joan spark well against each other and a few seasons later they even had a ridiculous catfight. Diahann's outfit in this is stunning as is Joan's lipgloss!

57 - JAKE'S DEATH - In 'Return To Eden' viewers were left with the cliffhanger of heroine Stephanie Harper following nasty Jake Sanders down the stairs at the mansion where he promptly fell down dead leaving the party looking horrified at a stunned Stephanie - only she'd been set up by her evil sister Jilly!

56 - LINDA & DIANNA IN THE POOL - 'CPW' had a catfight in their final episode. Linda Fairchild (Lauren Hutton) and Dianna Brock (Raquel Welch) had hated each other on sight and had actually swapped husbands. They had a mild confrontation at the 4 Seasons Hotel restaurant and to finish each other off, they collapsed into the pool scrapping away - PS - Lauren had the upper hand!

55 - MARY ALICE KILLS HERSELF - 'Desperate Housewives' started with a bang, 2 minutes into the new soapie, our narrator explained she was having a normal day running chores and doing housework when she then went to a cupboard, took out a gun and shot herself in the head! Great start to a wildly fabulous show!

54 - SAMMY JO MEETS ALEXIS - 'Dynasty' had already introduced Alexis but wanted another nasty vixen so Heather Locklear was cast as Sammy Jo Carrington, Krystle's niece to sink her teeth into gay questioning Steven. She was from Ohio and met a furious Alexis as she decided to slide down the bannisters of the mansion, Alexis wasn't impressed by this tramp's behaviour which set the scene for many fights between the two.

53 - DIANA KILLS PAMELA - In 'V' Diana was getting pissed at Pamela who was dealing with a military operation so she took matters into her own hands and shot Pamela dead so she could take over the ship! She blasted poor British Pamela with a smirk saying "Consider this early retirement!" Then she went off and killed the local priest for good measure.

52 - LILYPOND CATFIGHT - It wasn't a boxing match in Las Vegas - it was better. Krystle and Alexis in 'Dynasty' finally slugged it out in the grounds of the Carrington mansion. Krystle threw Alexis into the lilypond and the two had a scrap that has become a top TV scene in many programs - it goes down in history as part of a show that defined a decade!

51 - JACK, AMANDA AND SYDNEY IN HOSPITAL - Jack was in a coma in 'Melrose Place' Sydney wanted to snoop so went visitng and found Amanda hovering over Jack's bed (her husband) laying into him after he woke up threatening her. Amanda belted Jack on the chest and he flatlined, Sydney watched on and then intervened to put Jack's tube back in, Amanda was horrified but relieved when Jack died, Sydney was also delighted as she could now blackmail Amanda - Typical Melrose Place moment!
