I'm not going to get into the shocking terrorist attacks in London this morning. I've tried to write a few sentences already about how sickened I am but can't do it, the situation is just wrong. My mood was helped slightly by the fact that I was probably still half in the bag for most of the day after a jaunt to The Tunnel last night with Cam and Jon. David appeared for a while with his new lover, Russell. They've been hot and heavy for almost a week now, David spent most of the time he was out grinning like a cheshire cat and chasing after Russell who I think may be a little Tazmanian devil if he's got a drink in him as he staggered about a fair bit - in saying that, I was pretty tanked aswell so it's possible that it was me staggering rather than David's paramour.
Bad Girls was amazing this week as it highlighted my favourite characters, the Costa Cons - Phyl and Bev. Stephanie Beacham rolled back the years by wearing a killer outfit and shooting a doctor in Spain, then she donned her biker gear and headed off into the sunset on a Harley Davidson. She does get caught and sent back to prison but she was absolutely brilliant the other night - it was if she was in Dynasty or The Colbys again, minus Barbara Stanwyck as Aunt Connie though, or the sweeping opening credits, or Maxwell Caulfield shirtless, or Katherine Ross acting badly, or Charlton Heston's wig, or huge mansions, or oil dealings or Colby Enterprises but you get the idea - she was fierce!
Tonight as London tries to comprehend and cope with the awful tragedy that occured this morning, my thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by these mindless killings. Only yesterday, Trafalgar Square was a place of elation as London were awarded the bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, now celebration is the last thing on anyone's mind as the city rebuilds and tries to make sense of these bastarding swines determined to ruin everything.
