MUST READS

I've wondered since starting this blog just who reads it other than my friends who sneak a peek as to what my insight is into our lives and all the campery and kitch I enjoy so much. I have my favourite blogs and the people that write them all so much wittier and caustic and hilarious than I could ever imagine or hope to be. Here's a list of some of my "Must Reads"

THE SKEWED WORLDVIEW OF LUBIN ODANA - A staple in my daily internet trawl. He knows about all my favourite movies and then a hundred more that I should've watched. The same with novels and books of interest. Very funny and dry, if he weren't so nice I'd hate him for being too goddamn trashy for his own good. Read from the start and loved it all all all - including his fascination with Shelley Winters and a healthy interest in Sal Mineo which is vital to be as trashy and brilliant as he is.

THE LOST BOY - Not so much lost but with a cheeky point of view and humour very similar to me. His take on life in London is as sharp as all get out. I'd love to know more about him but he's a cheeky cookie and doesn't reveal too much about himself which makes him all the more intriguing.

FASHMAGSLAG - Brilliant New Yorker who stays in Midtown Manhattan and is just a scream to read. If he's not getting stuck in his bathroom to be rescued, he's jetting about the globe and providing his take on all things sex, New York and nonsense.

JOE.MY.GOD - New York Bear who tells both deep stories and the funniest quips I've seen in a while. His Terrence novellas are just peachy keen. If I was in New York, I'd want him as a friend if only to hear more about his crazy past and present.

BOMITONI - Crazy Chicago nutter who loves all things South American/Spanish with a hint of Sheena Easton thrown in for good measure. You haven't seen anything until you've seen him dressed as Jem the cartoon character.

I also read DigitalSpy, Popbitch, Holy Moly for my showbiz gossip and naturally have to keep up to date on Joan Collins official site and Joan Crawford's most extensive tribute site. Check 'em out if you're ever bored of mine!
