IT'S A RETURN OF SORTS

Well I haven't blogged for a few weeks - I've been caught up with work blah blah and a serious shitload of new dvds to try and get through and then I came to a crossroads. I was ready for my next movie on my Top 25 Camp movies of all Time Countdown when I discovered another movie that may make this place rather than the one I had placed originally. This confusion caused a slight spoke in my wheels of blogging so to speak so I thought it only fair to re watch movies and now they both have excellent qualities - like a King Charles Spaniel but which one to place I still don't know.

I did go more than a little crazy book and dvd shopping. Now I NEVER buy from HMV or Borders unless I absolutely have to. You know those days when there's a big movie release and you just CAN'T wait for the postie to pop your slot with the dvd? Well that's the only time I buy from bog standard retail outlets. I am a total bargain hunter on amazon. Here's a tip, always go to Market sellers on Amazon - so much cheaper and just as reliable. Lat week I bought 4 dvds and 2 books for under £20 and the value was nearer £60 buying them from amazon direct or from retail.

So I've been ensconced in tv trash heaven, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Prisoner Cell Block H, Kathy Griffin:My Life on the D List, some John Waters and some good books - the books cost 1p each with £2 shipping. I love bargains like that. Now I know you can understand why I haven't been blogging. Then to top it off, it's been premiere week on US TV with all my favourite shows returning and some new ones popping up. My staples of Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters have got a new addition - Dirty Sexy Money.......

This seems like Dynasty for the Millenium, the rich Darling family have hidden secrets and are very dysfunctional. That's really it - it definitely shows some MAJOR potential and I hope it isn't canned after 13 episodes like Lisa Kudrow's fabulous show The Comeback a few seasons ago.

And on top of everything else, I met a guy online today, he said he was into phone sex in a big way so who am I to stop someone getting their kicks - we started to chat on the phone and I had to hang up. He looked hot but his voice made him sound like Mel B from Bo Selecta a few years ago - it was as though he had smoked 20 cigarettes in a row, eaten them and put on a leopard print dress. I had to hang up, the visual I had was freaking me out because of this weird audio I was getting!

And still I don't know what movie will come next.......
