It's my 500th post now!! Who knew over 4 years I could prattle on about enough camp and nonsense to keep myself entertained let alone any other readers!! So 4 years later and I'm just back from Gran Canaria
Fortunately or maybe unfortunately, I never met the guy who sent me the message although we did meet some crazy boys from Aberdeen who got pissed up like a judge and had a hoot and a half.
I was so chilled out - the days were spent lazing and the nights spent drinking and enjoying the drag bars which were FIERCE.
If ever I have dreamed of donning a wig and miming to Liza Minnelli then this holiday was it. The drag queens cracked me up especially a few from the infamous Ricky's Cabaret Bar. Just to run down the roster......
PIXIE PRIMARK - From Yorkshire, very good drag queen and had a potty mouth
GLORIA SOUL - Worked the terrace and wore a lovely black number most nights
HELLON EARTH - Looked simple but was very good and wore nice dresses
CHRISSY K - Possibly about 900 years old but her Cher impersonation was amazing
ANNA MAY WONG - The roughest drag queen this side of Rupaul. She didn't do numbers and scared Cameron
GINA G SPOT - Excellent drag queen with loads of smart numbers
DAME PEGGY WESSEX - My favourite, she mastered the crowd and swore like a sailor and very quickwitted
There's a new drag bar in Gran Canaria called Sparkles with 3 queens who used to work Rickys. Andi Martine was a real bitch but his other 2 queens Dinah Might and Tammy Pax were very lighthearted. We said last holiday that Tammy was David's mum which is soooooo true. She is fabulous!
I even managed a bit of cock aswell with one of the Aberdeen boys. I had no clue what he was saying half the time as his accent was so strong but then so was his dick so I didn't mind! Coming back to Scotland has put me on a downer I've had to watch some Prisoner Cell Block H to cheer me up. Even the denim on display isn't helping. Now I just to need to work out my own cabaret act for my drag show.......................
Hopefully I will manage at least another 500 posts - I have an exorbinant amount of camp still to list!!!

Happy 500th post and congratulations!! I haven't quite made it there yet and doubt I will to be honest, but never mind ...
Gran Canaria sounds a hoot too, me and my hubbie did consider it as a holiday destination. Can't believe there are so many drag queens there. "Gloria Soul" has to go down (so to speak) as one of the best drag queen names ever.
You could do a Chrissie Latham tribute drag act! All sequined denim and big Farah Fawcett style red hair.
Could call yourself Chrissie Lay-em!?!
