UNFULFILLED

I've had the most blaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh weekend. I have been training like a bitch in heat for the Great Scottish Run next Sunday and I think the heavy training this week has taken it's toll. I trained on Monday with my trainer where I was seriously wasted and then I did step class on Tuesday and a 10k on Wed before a final session on Thursday night with my trainer. I woke up on Friday with so little energy it was as though a vampire had drained me during the night. I thought I was getting the flu with a hint of swine - oink oink so rested up on Friday night and then last night decided against going to Edinburgh with my friends and was tucked up in bed by eleven. Today I feel so much better and not so ravaged by lethargy. Not that I was ravaged at all but I think the past few weeks of heavy training was a bit too much.

Because of the boringness of my weekend, I have watched more Desperate Housewives and Melrose Place than I previously had for years. However, I'm still not satisfied. I watched Stardust - The Bette Davis Story and this filled me up to some extent but I couldn't face two hours of Bette non stop running about those staircases of Warner Bros in Now, Voyager so I went to bed early.

So what now - Bette's not done it, the Desperate Housewives or Melrose Place couldn't do it - what is going to give me that bread and water I desire? I'm on the hunt for some trash so satisfying, it's not a guilty pleasure - just pleasure.....
