I have had a crush on the actor Billy Campbell. He appeared in the 80s in Dynasty as the hot gay lover of Steven Carrington who was sadly offed in the infamous season finale when armed renegades stormed into Amanda and Prince Michael of Moldavia's wedding. He actually lasted until the first episode of the following season before dying.
That would have been the end of that but Billy Campbell appeared on Tales of The City as hot gay doctor Jon Fielding. I totally missed him as The Rocketeer but as a gay man, I adored his bone structure and foppish hair and amazing eyes and body. Just a hunk of spunk.
He then appeared as a single dad in the good drama Once and Again in the early 2000s although I didn't bag the hot daddy look. Cut to him reappearing in More Tales of The City and Further Tales of The City playing Dr Jon and getting naked. Delicious.
Now he's to appear as a love interest in Melrose Place to Heather Locklear - which is ironic as Heather Locklear's Sammy Jo in Dynasty made some nasty comments to her ex hubbie Steven about his dead gay lover.... I hope his body and looks have held up because he's just a crush I can't get enough of.
