Peyton's a schemer who is having a fling with Reece's soon to be husband - Travis. The show's steamy style attracted me with plantation-like houses and that fabulous Southern drawl. Savannah started off well with Travis being bumped off and Peyton trying to hide the affair she had with him. This continued as Peyton continued to battle secretly against her friends and it reminded me of Krystle vs Alexis in Aaron's most famous soapie Dynasty. Sadly Savannah finished after only 2 seasons but my lasting memory is of Peyton visiting her mother in jail for she is the one who bumped off Travis. Lucille, Peyton's mum, grabs the prison bars and cries "He'll get what's coming to him, come hell or high water" So very dramatic and so very camp. There was a riverboat, double dealing, kidnapping, prostitution, murder and at the end of the last episode oF the 1st season, Peyton returned home to see a figure step out from the shadows at her door, she dropped her keys and screamed "Travis!!" It turned out it wasn't Travis but his twin brother, Nick Corelli. Vintage Spelling drama!

You have just made my week! How wonderful to be reminded of the fabulous goings on at Savannah. I think the season one finale of Savannah was one of the best season enders ever witnessed.
Lots of love,
