QUEER EYE FOR THE QUEERER GUY

Well, I thought being a staunch 'mo was easy. Listen to Liza, envy Joan Collin's shoulderpads, model your walk on Bette Davis ala All About Eve and call out 'meanwhile' when a hottie passes by. However, I am forever gobsmacked at how much I was missing - I have now been saved from eternal gay damnation thanks to Carson Kressley and company!

After feeling low last night I put in a video of my new favourite show:-

The ultra fabulous Queer Eye For The Straight Guy has enlightened me beyond belief and not just for Carson's quick wit.

I now know how important it is to "tzuz" with regard to Fashion. My apartment is peachy keen to start with and like to think of myself as a bit of an Interior Design diva. Food and Wine is simple because all I eat is pasta, My Grooming has improved just slightly as cute Kyan steers me on the righteous path of cleanse, tone, moisturise every night, Clinique will make a mint from me! The only pointless but yummy one is poor Jai, the Culture Vulture. He thinks that every sincere moment is solve by "let's get some art" or "Jewellery is the the way to go" A superb series which I follow religiously. The poor sister UK version however leaves a lot to be desired. For a start there's no Carson (remember tzuz) and the boys are not nearly as likeable, they take the piss out of the unsuspecting breeder, tear his place apart with their ratty little dog and bask in the glory?! of their success. And all with rather dodgy almost Australian accents. Thankfully this all backfired on a recent episode when the Straight Guy was getting married but proceeded to cut himself shaving, a cardinal sin! He didn't wear the right shoes, didn't like the house after the 5 had left and ballsed up his wedding speech at the reception and called his new bride an old cow. The look of horror on the Queer Eye's faces said it all and I was in heaven! If Carson and Kyan were on there, this wouldn't have happened - let me tell ya mister sister! Now - I'm off to moisturise and remember Clothes may make the man but Accessories make the man Fabulous!
