THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI

It's a New Year so naturally some stars are due for a comeback - I downloaded Jenny Lopez's new track 'Get Right' and have been playing it all day long in a very chilled out day - Our Jenny, my favourite Hispanola has definitely got it right with this bad boy and I personally think it kicks some ass. The video's quite cool aswell although in some guises she looks like a piece of airbrush she's been touched up so much, there ain't no way that lady's skin is so smooth all the time!

Another artist who has a far far far superior set of chops on her (2nd only to Miss Whithey) is Mariah Carey - now her Greatest Hits CD is a a cracking listen with some real belters but this diva went a bit loopy apparently and had a breakdown - she then came back with a flick hairdo and kinda resembled a pig wi' knickers and the tracks and hits just weren't there anymore. So she's back again with the fabulously titled 'The Emancipation of Mimi' I thought this is what she's calling herself now but she appeared on MTV recently as 'Bianca' her alter ego resurrected from the 'Heartbreaker' stage in her career. What followed on TV was a switch between Mariah dressed normally ie tight stringy strapped vest showing her heaving titties and hot tamale Bianca who was actually just Mariah in a black wig!!

Now that's emancipation!
