Last night I had a rather fabulous post made out about Crystal Gayle, Honey Goodfellow and seeing buses in nightclubs. Then blogger fucked out on me and my almost ingenious post was wiped - not even saved!!!
Anyway so here I am on a wonderful Saturday afternoon cooking some pasta and watching Popular on DVD. I've been writing this blog a year this coming Tuesday and I'm amazed I've kept myself interested in writing for this long. I've written stories for years - normally intent on sweeping sagas and family drama with some rich bitch at the helm who is hopelessly sophisticated and suffers from long lost relatives, corporate takeovers and affairs of the heart. Since starting the blog I like to think I've documented my own warped version of corporate takeovers and affairs of the heart - and loins! I'm not doing a review on the past year of blogging - I'm still surprised that people actually read this so it's validation and reflection for me!
As for Crystal Gayle, the story goes that I thought she looked like Linda Evans in Dynasty rather than Cher in Gypsies Tramps and Thieves whom she did resemble. A few years later I was off my face in a club when my friend Honey Goodfellow said that Scottish wannabe disco diva Mary Kiani looked liked Cher in Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves. I also said in the same conversation that I thought I saw a bus driving through the nightclub so naturally Honey won this tete a tete!

Blogs are amazing, aren't they? It's this network of writers, mostly consisting of people who don't know each other who amuse each other, console each other, etc. It's also free therapy!
