TYRA V NAOMI

I finally got to see the episode of the 'Tyra' where she has her special guest Miss Naomi Campbell.

It turns out that Tyra has been pissed at Naomi for 14 years as Naomi was a bit of a cow to her at a fashion shoot in Anguila and also at a show in Milan. The show was priceless as these two supermodels duked it out. Naomi came off far better and Tyra attributed Naomi as being an inspiration when she was growing up and because of their feud, she has been able to have her own talk show and present America's Next Top Model. Now that is just bullshit. At first Tyra wouldn't let the audience in as she confronted Naomi about her past indiscretions. Naomi smiled sweetly and said she couldn't recall the various incidents that Tyra brought up. When Tyra said that Naomi got her nixed from a Versace show, Naomi laughed it off saying Kate Moss was cancelled as well and she didn't have the power to stop a designer using Tyra. Tyra seemed rattled and mentioned about a photographer not working with Tyra because Naomi said so. Naomi questioned back with "Do you have any proof?"

All in all, Tyra was and still is desperate for validation from Miss Naomi who did concede that she was proud of Tyra as a black woman doing her own talk show and ANTM but that was it and I couldn't have been prouder of Naomi. Naomi was very sure of herself and mentioned about taking drugs and is obviously made of much stronger stuff than poor Tyra who had been harbouring feelings for 14 years wheras Naomi couldn't care less. They did make some sort of healing although Tyra did mention that even after the interview she felt Naomi hadn't really taken any responsibility for her supposed actions in the early 1990s. It wasn't until Naomi said she thought Tyra was doing good that Tyra felt happy and had some sort of closure.

Without generalising, Tyra seems very LA and Naomi is typical British bitch. Naomi has and never will take any prisoners and I can sympathise with that. Tyra will try and reform them!! As it happens, both are stunning women but Naomi was there first and still works it so she gets the nod for me. Long live the Queen, Tyra will just have to wait and wait and wait.....
