NOTORIOUSLY MODELLING AGENCY NONSENSE

I love TV and and I love trash TV and nothing is trashier or campier than two shows I've become hooked on.

So NoTORIous is a spoof reality/comedy show about Tori Spelling. Tori Spelling plays Tori Spelling and everything in her life is the way people expect Tori to be but it's all a comedy. The first episode had the Dynasty credits, an homage to Charlie's Angels, Loni Anderson and and and...... a cameo by Farrah Fawcett who tries to fire in to Tori's room mate. Tori has always been best being Tori. There are quips about her Beverly Hilss 90210 character Donna Martin being dull and a virgin, Tori as Tori dismissed it although claims she's not a slut. She disses Paris Hilton and the cast seem fabulous and Tori is brilliant. The requisite gay friend and stylish pushy friend are present and the scenes cut quickly so as not to be too boring.

Quick scene cutting is also part of the deal in the always wonderful Tazmanian Devil of a show that is The Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency. Janice, the world's first supermodel and ex judge of America's Next Top Model follows Janice in reality heaven as she tries to set up her own modelling agancy in LA. Janice is maniacal, savvy, bitchy, cutting and all round diva and although she seems completely stark staring bonkers, there's just a hint that when it comes to modelling, this chick knows what she's talking about. Janice is trussed up like a chicken in rather fabulous 80s style clothes, think Alexis in the noughties and you have an idea. She's all hats, veils and gloves. She fires three assistants, she finds a homeless girl who turns out to be an ungrateful bitch. Janice books her an appointment at the plastic surgeon to sort out her nose and the hag doesn't turn up then moans because Janice hasn't helped her find a place to stay - ungrateful bitch. Janice turfs her back to the kerb in a scene that would make Tanya Turner smile with glee.

All in all it's trashy and flashy and utterly addictive!
