DYNASTY 2 - THE COLBYS TASTER
I'm thrilled that I'm finally getting reacquainted with THE COLBYS. It's so fabulous seeing Stephanie Beacham bitch with that famous dyke Barbara Stanwyck and the simpering twit Katharine Ross.
It's all a bit too much so will update later on with every dastardly deal, every wonky shoulderpad and every different shirtless scene from Maxwell Caulfield quicker than you could say Randall Adams.

Funny you should mention that, I've just been watching some old alexis clips on YouTube, but the selection is pretty poor ad half of the are in French!
I remember it well. Not quite as good as Dynasty though and it only lasted two seasons didn't it? Mind you the second season finale, with Fallon being whisked off into space by aliens, was a total classic. Shame the same couldn't be said about Emma Samms' acting. I much preferred Pamela Sue Martin as the first Fallon - she was much more feisty and gutsty - the second Fallon was a wimp!
Stephanie Beacham on the other hand was brill, and chewed up the scenery on a frequent basis. Barbara S was okay, I heard rumours that she thought the show was a total load of cr*p and quit after the first season. I actually really like Katherine Ross(she was fantastic in The Stepford Wives) but I don't remember her being particularly memorable in The Colbys. Mind you, the scripts didn't exactly stretch the intellect, so that was hardly surprising.
And Tracey Scoggins who played Monica Colby, recently turned up in a gay supernatural soap (honestly!) called "Dante's Cove", the first series of which is now out on DVD. Tracey plays a spurned wife with unearthly powers, who chains her husband up in a cellar when she catches him sh*gging the man servant! I kid you not! She's also got an English accent, which she pulls off very well and she makes a great villainess.
I think you'd really like "Dante's Cove", Caress - it's tres camp, there's lots of melodrama, and most important of all, it has lots of hot young guys in it getting their kit off at regular intervals!!
Mmm I succeeded in going off on a major tangent there, didn't I? But a slightly related one, nevertheless.
Ah, Maxwell Caulfield. ...Dare to dream wetly.
