NOTHING BUT THE VIEW

I've had an odd fascination in the past year or so. It's The View - that US daytime staple with 4 opinionated women. Like Loose Women except with far more of an audience and more opinions. Last year, Star Jones left or was sacked or whatever by Barbara Walters. Now Rosie O'Donnell is leaving. She was Star's replacement and hated Star. I, however was quite fond of Star - she's a tough cookie and although she seemed a bit affected and I'm pretty sure married a gay husband she seemed pretty fair game. I loved that she took all sorts of free gifts and sponsorship of her wedding - they had an official wedding airline - it's just like Anthea Turner and her chocolate bars fiasco!

Since then, The View has gone even wilder with Rosie O'Donnell causing havoc - arguing with Elisabeth Hasselbeck about the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, having a set to with Donald Trump and generally being as controversial as possible.

What happens next on The View??!! How will Barbara cope?!! Will Joy Behar ever wear a skirt?!!! I hope Star comes back - just for shits and giggles. However I don't see that happening as she recently filled in for Larry King Live and has a new role on Court TV - her new editrix hairdo may help her new venture.
