I love Prisoner Cell Block H and everything about it - the wobbly sets, women in peril, murders, denim, bent screws, shocking storylines, more denim, the steam press, Bea Smith, the list goes on so here is one of the most memorable scenes.
Queen Bea has set up a diversion to send evil Officer Ferguson into isolation so she can bash her. This is the start of the Great Fire of Wentworth that was one of the major highlights. I'm literally entrenched in Prisoner right now and am totally addicted - so much so that I feel I should be in a denim jacket and wanting to work in the laundry or the garden! Enjoy this taster....

Bless you for posting this!!
I once worked with a bouncer who was like a male version of Ferguson. Taller, bigger biceps, and a killer ass. Even donned leather gloves in the winter!! I always thought he would be a right kinky bugger in the sack.
Simply erection inspiring. (the bouncer that is, not the Freak.)
The Fire episodes were some of the best. The face-off with Bea and Joan was ace - there's a very vicious bit when the Freak bashes Bea's head on the floor though.
Even though she was a stereotype Joan Ferguson was a compelling character - okay a dodgy portrayal of lesbianism, equating her sexuality with criminality, but Maggie Kirkpatrick always gave the role her all. I saw her years ago in a club in Manchester and then in "Prisoner - the Musical" with Lily Savage - you would have loved it Caress!
