I went with some of the girls - Jon, Jon, David and Gary to see a top list favourite celebrity in concert on Saturday night. Loose Woman and cruise ship extraordinaire, Jane McDonald!
She was playing at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow and the place was packed to the rafters, we were in the God's but got a great view of Jane who belted out her voice like nobody's business. We were possibly the youngest people in the audience as the blue rinsers and bed wetters were out in force but the atmosphere was amazing and the crowd were singing along to Jane who seemed to genuinely enjoy performing for her crowd.
Jane is my favourite Loose Woman and she cracks me up with her chat and is always tells it like it is. A lot of the crowd were shouting for her to sing their favourites which she did, she actually worked the audience into a slight frenzy, so much so that the woman beside me put her boiled sweets away to clap her hands to Jane's Burt Bacharach medley!
Kaye Adams, one of the original Loose Women was in the audience and Jane asked her to come back on the show and bring some class back to it!!! It was fabulous and I have to say that the woman can belt out a track or twenty. Her voice is very pure and her backing singers had their own routines going on which was slightly disconcerting as they looked like they had just stepped out of New Look with their outfits and their dancing left a lot to be desired.
On top of that, only one word describes my next fascination, well two words, Crazy Diva - it could only be Grace Jones. She's coming to Glasgow in January and I'm itching to see the legend on stage, I hope she sings La Vie On Rose, it's a magical song. I texted loads of people to see who wants tickets but the response has been more than slow. I wonder if it will be just me and Grace swaying and pulling up to the bumper in January when she hits town?!!

Grace Jones eh!
Friend of mine saw her in London in June and she was fantastic apparently. Even invited people onto the stage.
Unpredictable but fab!
