IF IN DOUBT - THERE'S ALWAYS JOAN

I'm feeling blah blah blah - reading Auntie Mame just now which is fabulous - I'd seen the movie loads and can't imagine anyone other than Rosalind Russell as Auntie Mame and the novel cements this. I am doing a chapter a night and I don't want it to end!

The past weekend was a drunken mess as per usual and woke up on Saturday morning looking like a bad ad for facial lifting. I looked like a tramp and I thought if I was ever famous and got papped taking the bins out I would Heat magazine gold dust. I tend to look very relaxed when I'm kicking about and am always taking the bins out in my pyjamas and slippers and looking just generally as though I've been dragged through a hedge backwards. Now I know my one reader must be thinking "Surely not the ever glamorous Miss Caress?!!" But alas, it's true - unless I'm heading out, I look like the hedge aswell as the person dragged through it.

So just to keep the glam factor up on the blog I have a picture of Joan Collins and Diahann Carroll as Alexis and Dominique in Dynasty - both in outfits that I've never worn when taking the bins out but outfits in which I'd love to.

Speaking of which - Miss Sofonda Cox may be making a glittering return to a dark bar sometime soon if she can get her stellies out in this winter weather!! In an outfit just as glittery as Joan and Diahann's!!
