The X Factor final was last night. I adored Dannii Minogue again - It's Team Minogue all the way and I hope she's back next year as I think she's fabulous. She wears killer dresses and has fab skin, porcelain style. I read online that she's spending next year in Australia so who knows - she may do a 3rd season of Australia's Got Talent and that may also tie her up to X Factor - I hope so......
Last night, I had to applaud the final - like last years duet of Leon and Kylie, this year it was Alexandra and Beyonce. Alexandra looked like Beyonce's sister Solange and she sang "Listen" from Dreamgirls and when Miss Beyonce came out, I was loving it although very concerned about her hair. It wasn't pretty and looked a bad drag wig. Her voice and the arrangement of Listen as a duet was amazing - I saw her live a few years ago and she has a fair set of lungs. It gave me goosebumps to see her belt out live - Alex was a bit weepy and it was expected that she would win. No real shock.
Then we all trotted through to Edinburgh for Cameron's birthday. A troop of us got drunk on the train and hit the club. Cameron literally hit the club as he was so drunk he threw himself about the club like the San Francisco earthquake had taken over his body - it was a sight behold. He departed fairly quickly to sleep off in a hotel room and we discoed the rest of the night away and got a night bus home - it was more council that I ever thought imaginable - I can slum it with the best of them though and slept through it and hit the hay about 6am this morning. Even when I'm almost 30, I can still do it!!!
Not long til Xmas and the shopping is all done. I have no gifts to get as I'm all prepped and am looking forward to some time off over the festive period - I'm just about to stick in my favourite Xmas style movie "The Man Who Came To Dinner" it's not completely festive but gets me in the spirit..... And I still need to get to the next movie on my list of Camp Movies!!!
