Well that fly bitch Lost in London has tagged me to name 5 blogs that make me think.
I can think of a few regular reads and think - I wonder who the hell writes this shit and then realise that I was reading my own blog. There are others that entertain me. In no particular order...
LOST IN LONDON
He's witty, smart, acerbic, cutting, shy and full of charm. He makes me think of life in the big smoke. Life in London (as the blog title suggests) has never seemed so much fun and yet so scary at the same time. A perfect balance of the highs and lows. I check his blog daily for more musings, if he was in a TV show I'd imagine he'd be in Nighty Night. Which is a compliment of the highest order.
LUBIN ODANA
One of my other daily reads who makes me think. I've actually met Lubin Odana and he is all that and a bag of chips. He knows all about trashy movies and anything camp. Very modest in his talent as his blog is insightful and smart with a wicked little twist. His tales of life in the south of England remind me of Miss Marple - not the Geraldine McEwan shows but Joan Hickson. If he was in a TV show I'd imagine he'd be in Mapp & Lucia. Socially superb and super quick with his wit.
MATTY'S BIT OF SPACE
A long time favourite. I started reading when I went to San Francisco over 2 years ago. He's a gentle guy who lives this fabulous ideal in America and has a fascination with Barbra Streisand - but let's face it, what mo doesn't? He shows loads of pics and I guess it's interesting to see how other people live in other parts of the world. I'm nosy that way. If he was in a TV show I'd imagine he'd be in I Love Lucy.
OLD CHEESER
A recent addition. A blog I have grown to enjoy. He loves his sci fi and especially Dr Who. Now I get this to an extent but you have to admire his knowledge about all things sci or fi or Who-ish. His personal life seems pretty sewn up and the complete opposite of mine which makes it all the more fun to read. If he was in a TV show it would be an episode of Dr Who that turns up in Knots Landing.
I also love the comments of Deemacgee who always comments on my blog and anyone else who pays attention to my chat. Including my friends and people I've met. I remember one blog I read religiously called Return To The Valley. It was like an episode of Savannah. The writer was always full of good chat and every post was filled with enough drama and sex and intrigue and deceit and comedy to make Desperate Housewives and Dynasty like Playschool. I loved every single post and the author had a superb way of drawing me into the drama. Sdly he no longer updates, he survived Hurricane Katrina and no doubt is going through tornadoes again in his life - terribly dramatic but delicious to read aswell, a real saga and a half!
So there we have it - some of my fave blogs past and present - my first ports of call when the laptop goes on to see what goss and excitement has been written about. If not by me then i can live vicariously through other people's drama. And I've been so fortunate to have been blessed with that wonderful gift of being able to laugh at my own and other people's misfortunes

Awww thank you lots for including me in your list Caress!! Very sweet and kind. I'm glad you enjoy reading my blog, I guess I am SLIGHTLY Dr Who fixated - but only slightly. I really should write about some other things. But as the show is broadcasting at the mo I can't help it! Actually many of the programmes you write about - Prisoner, Dynasty, The Colbys - are shows I love too but you normally beat me to it when it comes to writing about them!
As for the personal life thing I guess being married does kind of sort things out and calm you down somewhat, however that doesn't stop me from window shopping every now and then! Lol. My hubbie is the same, I think it's natural. Far better to be honest if you find someone attractive rather than getting all jealous about it, the difference is knowing where to draw the line of course!
As for you, hey you're still in your 20s and still have time to have loadsa fun - which you obviously do judging by your posts! But one day I'm sure your fairy prince is going to come. I guess I'm kind of like a gay Stepford husband by comparison.
And I love your analogy there - me in an episode of Dr Who in Knots Landing, ha ha! Well, only if I can be Abby - she rocked.
Cheers again
