I can't believe I almost forgot two important dates. Today is Miss Kylie Minogue's 39th birthday and thanks to the wonders of cosmetic surgery and copious amounts of botulism she looks like a 39 year old porcelain doll who can only move her eyes slightly and round her mouth - every other facial tick has been removed. Happy birthday Kylie and those new leaked tracks online aren't too shabby either!
The other important date happened a few weeks ago when it came to pass that I had been updating this blog for 3 years - a mighty feat for someone who is renowned for starting something and not finishing but a blog is like a blowjob - you have to work to get results. I like to think I've produced some camp nonsense that I love so much and hopefully given some readers a renewed interest in some long forgotten classics both on TV and on film.
I spent most of the weekend drunk as a skunk. I definitely hadn't learned my lessons of jean ripping from Thursday night and although no more garments met a sticky end this weekend, I thought I could have sunk the Titanic a few times with all the vodka I drank. Now I'm no lush but even Sue Ellen would have been getting a run for her money had she gone drink for drink with me. So today has been a detox with water only and I even did a Popeye and had some spinach. How long this will last I don't know but I've been pissing like a racehorse all day.
Dreamgirls was released on DVD today and I watched all the backstage extras - a 2 hour documentary was the piece de resistance and it gets me working up my showdance steps - hence why I almost put on a long afro wig, stuck on my Swarovski crystal enhanced eyelashes and dragged it up to One Night Only. I found some self control and just ate my spinach.

Kylie Minogue - cosmetic surgery and botox? Surely not. She doesn't look bad considering. I hope the new tracks are good!
I agree about your blog/blowjob comment - a very nice/appropriate analogy!! And some blowjobs are easier than others, so to speak. You have indeed covered lots of ground in your blog including many classic TV of the past, which I've greatly enjoyed reading about!
Talking of Sue Ellen, I've just done a post on Dallas, check it out if you fancy:
